Destination: West Palm Beach
In addition, the city is known for its nightlife, which offers everything from small pubs to concert halls and dance clubs. Located in the heart of downtown, City Place is an open-air plaza of palm-lined avenues that offers numerous shops and restaurants as well as a 20-screen theater. This diverse center also has several comedy and dance clubs as well as a mix of townhouses and apartments. The classic Spanish architecture gives it the feel of a European city square.
Arts and entertainment can be found throughout the city. You can watch a dance, opera, or musical at the Kravis Center or visit the Norton Museum of Art, Florida's largest art museum. Every Thursday, both locals and visitors flock to Clematis by Night, a free concert series with local arts and crafts vendors as well as plenty of live entertainment. Sunfest is a popular West Palm Beach arts and music festival on the waterfront that attracts thousands of visitors each year.
Beyond the nightlife and arts scene, West Palm Beach is also an excellent destination for golf. Palm Beach National Golf & Country Club is a classic, player-friendly layout that is a local favorite. West Palm Beach Golf Course is another popular play. This public course stands out thanks to the abundance of palms, pines, and oaks throughout its landscape.
Just north of West Palm Beach is PGA National Resort & Spa, host of the Honda Classic. If those offerings aren't enough, the famed Breakers hotel is just across the bridge.
