Park Ridge Golf Course in Lake Worth stands out thanks to its dramatic changes in elevation, which aren't typically found on south Florida golf courses. The course utilized the site of an old landfill, although you would never be able to guess it. 64,000 cubic yards of fill was imported to craft the course's trademark contours. Park Ridge G.C. won several environmental and engineering awards when it opened in 2007 and it has been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The wide open, links layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to approach with confidence but there are a few challenging holes to tackle. Park Ridge Golf Course is a fair and playable layout that is a local favorite. It also served as a pre-qualifying site for the Honda Classic in 2012.
