The Preserve at Ironhorse

The Preserve at Ironhorse (formerly known as Ironhorse Country Club) is an Arthur Hills design that forms the centerpiece of a private residential community. The golf course has a beautiful setting within a nature preserve that is home to an abundance of indigenous wildlife. The rolling terrain shaped the design, resulting in lush, flowing fairways and slightly elevated, undulating greens. The up and down of the golf course isn't the only challenge though. There are 45 sand bunkers strategically placed throughout and tall trees line the fairways. Water is perhaps the most prominent of the course's challenges, it comes into play on 15 holes. Ironhorse's 12th through 14th holes are a particularly memorable stretch thanks to an expansive lake that stretches for over a mile across the course, forming a border along the entire side of this trio.
