Bonaventure Country Club in Fort Lauderdale offers two championship courses, the East and the West. The golf courses cover over 300 acres of mature trees and native vegetation, accented with several sparkling lakes. The East Course is the original layout at Bonaventure. Designed by Joe Lee, this classic layout has been ranked as one of Florida's top 10. The golf course weaves through swaying palms and towering hardwoods. To add an element of challenge, there are expansive bunkers strategically placed along the greensides. Water hazards come into play several times throughout the course but most notably on the par-3 third hole with its cascading waterfall. In addition to the two golf courses, Bonaventure also offers a driving range with yardage targets, including some floating targets, as well as two putting greens.

Course is ok. Greens were in horrible shape. Would not recommend. Ball machine ripped me off. Flat and not very tough. Wide open fairways. If you are a good player, should be able to eat this up, but hard to roll puts on those shaggy carpets with dead spots.
