- The owner, Jacques, is a disgusting human. After noticing a worker several times following us, Cameron, a maintenance worker, pulled off to the side in his golf cart next to another maintenance worker while my wife and I were about to tee off. He faces his cart towards my wife and I, looks to his co-worker and says (over the noise of the mower) “I thought that girl was hot until I saw her face” while looking at us. He immediately follows that up with “I hope she didn’t hear that”. I approach him and tell him I heard his comment. He responds by questioning which comment. So I talked to the owner/manager, Jacques, (who happens to be Cameron’s uncle) who asks if we would ever come back and if he could take care of our next round. I said we will not be coming back. Then he offered $1,000.00 in credit to stay in one of his rooms. I also declined as we are moving across the country in 2.5 weeks. He said well since it seems like nothing will make you happy can I have your address to think it over and make it right. After refusing to live up to his agreement to make it right with an offer or answer my phone calls to chat, I eventually was able to ask him what he had come up with when I talked to him in person again. He called me a gold digger and a racist (Cameron who made the comment towards my wife on the course is a black man. I’m white. The only way to explain this is that he is a liberal who loves playing victim). But thank gosh he offered a free round “next time.” Despicable humans at Terra Ceia.
