River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Tight course and plenty of tees to choose from. Challenging but short for long hitters.

Pace of play is usually good but can be slow with the Snow Birds are in town.

Discounts should be allowed for local residents, after all its a city course and we pay taxes to the city and the County.

Usually in very good condition. The entire Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Make sure you tip the employees.
