Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne

Crandon Golf Club at Key Biscayne is only 10 minutes from Miami but it will feel as though you've been transported to a faraway tropical island. The course sprawls across a scenic landscape covered with mangrove forests and brilliantly colored foliage. The feeling of tranquil seclusion is reinforced by the sparkling blue water that completely surrounds the course with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Biscayne Bay to the west. There are also seven saltwater lakes that come into play on several holes and it is the only golf course in North America with a subtropical lagoon. In addition to the natural hazards, sand traps were deftly placed, adding challenge but not taking the attention away from the terrain. The scenery is one of Crandon Golf Club's best aspects but it is also a formidable test that is especially tough on windy days.
