The Jones Course is the original Rees Jones design at LPGA International in Daytona Beach. It was later joined by the Arthur Hills-designed Hills Course. The golf course has a traditional links-style layout that measures a lengthy 7,088 yards from the back tees. It is a seemingly wide-open course with generous landing areas but it is far more treacherous than it looks. The dramatically rolling fairways are lined with mature trees and contoured mounding and strategically placed bunkers surround the elevated greens. The natural marsh areas and sparkling lakes that are situated throughout the landscape also come into play on 10 holes. It can be formidable but the golf course is playable for a wide range of skill levels, with creative players being rewarded with multiple options on almost every shot.
