On the waterfront: The Links Course at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin
DESTIN, Fla. -- With water on 14 holes, the Links Course at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort calls for precise shots and good course management.
Designed by Tom Jackson, this 6,700-yard golf course is designed around Choctawhatchee Bay and the 2,400-acre resort has nearly all the elements -- sand, water, wind and trees. There are plenty of holes where driver isn't the best option but some that invite calculated risks for a chance to score low.
Best of all, though, there are plenty of great views to enjoy along the way. No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9 are particularly scenic, and the back nine also has its fair share of eye-catching views.
