Located just north of Tampa, the Links of Lake Bernadette sprawls across rolling hills sprinkled with stands of mature pines. Since opening in 1983, the golf course has garnered a popular following, receiving acclaim from Golf Digest as the "Best Overall Value" in Tampa Bay. The course is a seemingly mild 6,484 yards from the back tees but it feels longer thanks to a number of twisting doglegs and forced layups. Water also has a prominent presence on the golf course, coming into play on half of the holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The course has some tricky holes and accuracy will be rewarded but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. In addition to the golf course, there are two practice chipping and putting greens.

- My son and I play this course quite often. The staff is very friendly. The course doesn't drain very well so you are often playing in soggy conditions. There is not a driving range here, nor is there a golf pro.Playing golf on a wonderfully warm day in Florida beats ice cold Wisconsin. What made it perfect was I played with a gentleman from Wisconsin. Both the pro & the owner thanked us for coming. Is that perfect plus?Christmas every day @ lolb (links of lake bernadette). Your card will be charged for the reservation and again for the same amount plus tax at the pro shop prior to play. In the addition, the employees in the pro shop are less than friendly. Calling them pretentious or arrogant would be an understatement regarding their lack of congeniality.
