Heritage Isles Golf & Country Club
10630 Plantation Bay DrHeritage Isles Golf & Country Club offers the best of Florida golf with a landscape covered in cypress trees and tranquil ponds. The architects wanted to retain the rustic charm as well as the native flora and fauna and so 15 acres of natural wetlands were preserved. The layout is more than just scenic, however. It will test even the best golfers. You short-game skills will come in handy on this golf course. The par 3s are some of the toughest in all of Tampa and the par 5s aren't easy either, especially the golf course's signature seventh hole. This 558-yard hole is a double dogleg with wetlands on either side of the fairway. Risk-takers can try a drive to the right of the fairway and over the dogleg left to the green but you'll have to carry a tall palmetto and brush in order to make it in two.
