Rio Pinar Golf
8600 El Prado DrSince opening in 1957, Rio Pinar Golf Club has hosted several PGA and LPGA events. Some big-name players have graced the links at Rio Pinar, including Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, and Julius Boros. It is also home to the Rollins College golf teams. The golf course is one of the oldest in the area and the traditional layout has become a local favorite among all skill levels. The layout features medium-sized greens that have subtle but tricky contours and the narrows fairways are lined with tall Florida pines. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers and water hazards to contend with. Rio Pinar Golf Club is gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to more advanced players as well.
