Condition
The whole golf course needs some tender loving care, greens had grass on but were running slow. Fairways had a lot of weeds, some tees had been cut, others had not been cut,
Value should have been $20 --$25 for the round.
Not sure
The course was a nice and big course. The greens etc were very disappointing. No place to get a coffee etx.
Deserted
Was like private course. Pace of play very good. Course was ok. Rest of place run down
The East Course
Played the East Course last week and it was in excellent condition. I highly recommend it , especially for the price.
Played The East Course
It is an average golf course, got all the amenities, but the washrooms on the course and in the club house are just below grade, small pro shop, and a good size bar area, which has happy hour on after your game of golf.
Good driving range and practice green.
Not good
The back 9 was better than the front by a lot however this course was not worth going to. The course is very unkept. Shaggy tee boxes and greens. The greens were also very muddy. The grounds look like an abandoned theme park.
avoid East course
East goes days with no mowing of fairways, teeing ground, greens or bunker rake once the South course opens in late December. Green cups have collapsed or damaged sides on many holes Pins do not fit in the cups properly so wind will blow the pins into the cup sides or completely out of the cup.. Golfers stepping close to the cups often create mounding so putts wobble to either side if not struck firmly due to days in the same spots.. Huge patches of weed growth on all greens with bare mud and burned out areas. Hundreds of ball marks not repaired. Attempt to fertilize has left thousands of hard, pebble sized "rocks" that affect putts. "STIMP" will vary from 5 to 7 average with a lot of surprises due to the condition of a particular green. Golfers describe this course as "goat ranch" condition when maintenance is lacking or ignored. Good course for beginners or those that feel uncomfortable playing with crowded conditions if you can get a "HOT" deal for $20 or less.. As a year long member I was embarrassed to have a guest charged $45 to play this course, he will not return. Play the South course...excellent challenge and condition with good grass on greens with a moderate STIMP of 8 to 9 and decent fairway lies if you bump it.
Not bad
East course was not in bad shape, a little wet in some areas & dry in others. Nice layout.
People friendly course
Good times no rushing and enjoying the peacefulness of golfing
First time on this course this year
When we entered the club house we were met by two very friendly and helpful staff members and after a quick check in we on a cart and headed for the first tee. The course is in good to fair condition. My wife and I completely alone on the front nine and we joined up with two other gentlemen and had a very enjoyable round. We’ll be back.
Not good shape.
Our foresome played the east course today. The greens were in bad shape, Not worth the money, Won't be back.
Disappointing
After being told that the course has been closed for 6 months and completely overseeded I expected quite a bit more. The greens were terrible with bare spots, bumps and very very slow (estimate about a 5 on the stimpmeter). The fairways had more crabgrass than anything else and the bunkers were all hardpan.
I've played here for over 25 years as a member and homeowner and to see the courses in this condition is pretty sad.
if your going to play do the south course!
Double check, triple check your reservation! (prepaid) They took pride in taking advantage of us as one of our tee times was off. Showed up with 4 charged us additional full rate because we made a simple mistake and smiled as they did it. (there was not a line to get in the door on a sunny 75 degree day) Booking agent took care of the problem immediately!
Now to the course, east is in bad shape weedy fairways and greens are terrible. South is in much better condition grass is high greens are green but bouncy. Being a local we have many other choices around for less or equal money. Do your research. They treated 4 locals like uneducated tourists!
