Windswept Dunes Golf Club is just a short drive from Destin and Panama City Beach, two of northwest Florida's most popular golf vacation destinations. The course manages to hold its own despite being surrounded by other courses. The aptly named golf course is visually stunning. Pristine white sand dunes, some of which reach up to 20 feet, contrast beautifully with the lush fairways. The spacious course measures to a lengthy 7,752 yards. The massive greens are undulating and often flanked with bunkers, presenting challenges that will test even the best golfers. Six sets of tees keep Windswept Dunes Golf Club accessible for all skill levels though. Unlike most of the area's courses, water is not a prominent feature. There is the occasional water hazard, but golfers will have to contend with plenty of sand.

- As a life-long golfer, I can say beyond doubt that Windswept Dunes is among the most FUN golf courses that I've ever played.
I love this golf course.Many of us from hurricane ravaged Panama City have been playing Windswept Dunes the past 7-8 months - while our former course (PCC) is being revamped...the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. Just played the course again June 28, 2019...it was gorgeous! They know how to grow grass and keep it lush! Greens are big with subtle grain and undulation. Takes awhile to figure the greens and where to try and leave it - 3 putts are possible...but a pretty track and reasonable value. Based on our recent experiences - it is well worth the drive from PC or wherever you are in the NW Florida Panhandle area. Lots of tee boxes to test your skill level. Enjoy it!I only had time for 9. I am going to be back to play the other 9 next weekend, and I can't wait. This area was going to be the next "Destin" but the economics of 2007 slowed things down.amazing visual.each hole stands on its own.

Golf Magazine had it as 100 of the top new courses in AmericaBest course in the panhandle. Very quiet and private from every hole. Beautiful scenery.Mother Nature decided to open up her vast pines and sand dunes, roll out vast wide carpet for fairways, add huge groomed greens along beautiful ponds, ravens and a few more sand traps. Then she decided to let the people play. Windswept dunes is truly a golfers "Course of Dreams"
