Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club blends seamlessly into the carefully preserved wilderness along the Choctawhatchee Bay. The course is not only an Emerald Coast favorite, but also one of the top golf courses in Florida. The layout is defined by the abundant wetlands that cover the entire course. Golfers will cross these ubiquitous swampy areas no less than nine times. Although they are frequent, the water hazards seem more intimidating than they actually are. In addition to the water, there are also massive freeform bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is an interesting variety of holes that will appeal to different skill levels and abilities. The golf course finishes with a memorable par 5 that requires a lengthy carry past a massive lake to an elaborately bunkered green.
