Course in beautiful shape, friendly staff. Played one of my best rounds of the year here! Plenty of water though so straight is premium!!!

Basically played golf in a construction zone. The staff was friendly, but carts were loud and dirty. Asked for towels for the carts and was told that they don't provide them, but was finally given ONE by the cart attendant. Even trying to look past the construction the course was very unimaginative, felt like you were playing the same 2 or 3 holes over and over. Disappointing overall.

Course is very nice. Paid $120 which I consider premium in this area and carts were dirty, gas powered and loud and not even towels in carts. Construction all over the place and noisy. Maybe this will be to a $120-$150 in season course someday but without the basic amenities and the noise ... way overpriced.

Very nice course. In good shape. Lots of residential construction, but the course is fine. Some of the cart paths are still a bit rough.
The course has a few holes that are surprising--local knowledge would have helped a first timer like me. A few holes where I should have left the driver in the bag and used a 4 wood. Friendly staff, eager to please. Take advantage of the newspaper coupon, and play for $100. When this course matures it will be worth the $130 published price. Water on just about every hole, but not particularly dangerous.

Played this course March 16 & 17, 2015. For $129 per round ($30 off with coupon from local newspapers) this course is not the best value for your dollar, but it is in season and you won't find many courses for under $100. I have played over 30 courses in this area and to say no other courses in SW Florida are in poorer condition is just not fair. The course has only been open since January and the greens, tee boxes, fairways, traps,
and practice areas are in excellent shape. Granted the course is lacking finished restrooms, ball washers, and there is plenty of on going construction. At times driving between holes is better suited for 4 wheelers than golf carts, but given time, this course has all the promise of being an excellent facility. The staff is friendly and helpful and that's not something you can take for granted at many facilities.

Played Bonita National for the first time on March 2nd, 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Finally a driver friendly course that is just challenging enough depending on which tees you hit from. Yes there were carries from the back tee box but if that's a concern then move up.
Compared to some courses I play up North I thought the conditions were great taking into account it's a new course after all. I always play it down regardless of conditions but my ball always seemed sitting up on these new fairways.

The greens were a tad slow but that's in our favour. Given time they will roll absolutely true.I have no problem with the green fee either as it will attract a somewhat more serious and caring golfer.
There is a concern from the construction site and we just need to cautious when going from green to next tee box.

This course is still a construction zone. Please don't pay 100+ until this course is more completed.

Course playability is great..... Other than that there is heavy construction all over the course. Be prepared to dodge semis and avoid the wash from power washers. The course will give you no idea and hide behind their driving range to get your money. If you enjoy the view of construction then you might enjoy playing for 100 bucks

forced carries, open landing areas but lots of rolling mounds. Short yardages are misleading. When they publish the slopes we'll get a better feel for the difficulty. GPS only available on SkyCaddie.

This course is the worst deal for your dollar in SouthWest Fl. I have not played a public or semi public course in poorer condition. The developer should have waited a year to open. Nothing is completed . Don't waste your money.

Course brand new and fairways and greens in excellent condition. Layout was interesting and fair. Ponds and lakes are not all visible from teeing areas and fairways so some care will be needed for the first time player. Different Tee boxes provide a wide range of challenges for golfers of different length and ability. Traps and waste areas are well maintained and fair. Overall impression is that the course is very playable, scenic and well maintained. We were able to play ball down without any questions. It will be interesting to see if the course becomes more spectacular as the surrounding landscape (and home sites) mature. All staff were very cordial and tried very hard to be helpful, My one suggestion would be that the decision to allow metal spikes be reconsidered. The technology exists to prevent a single awkward stepping golfer from scuffing the perfect greens that the grounds crew has provided.
