West Palm Beach Golf Course

Surprised that this course was in such poor condition. The sand off fairways and in some fairways was most difficult to hit out of. Way tot much sand. Fairways need water.

While the layout is fine, the course conditions were terrible. Mostly bare fairways that seemed not to have been watered in a long time.
Greens were decent and obviously do get watered.

There is a small snack bar with drinks and snacks.
Perhaps in the fall conditions will be better. Compared to most courses in the area, this one is sub-par.

foe the money the course was good they are doing some much needed work since it's after season which I totally understand. I think the need to do some work on the staff their as well. Let's start with the guy who is always smoking cigars that pulls his jeep upto where you drop your cart off. Seems like he's always in a bad mood An just expects tips for doing nothing for you. Then you got the lady in the concession stand who I still wonder how she has a job... she thinks she's doing customer service by calling you honey and baby no sweetie you work on a golf course none of that is needed an your short shorts isn't needed their either we don't want to see all of that... did you guys just call up the nearest rehab house An hired interns ? Please get your staff under control . And clean the water coolers around the course they all have mold on the spouts!

Greens were in good condition. Fairways a little ruff due to lack of rain. All greens are elevated and have a decent slope. Very challenging. No water just sand waste areas. Not to easy to find your ball if you are unlucky .Staff was very accommodating and nice. I was there at day break. Made it through in less than 2.5 hours. No one in front of me. I would play there again.

The course quality has fallen dramatically from just a couple of years ago. Crabgrass everywhere, no differentiation from the fairway and rough or some greens and the fringe. Sand traps are average to low quality, which is par for the course for most municipal courses, but sand defines this course so it sticks out. Speaking of sand, instead of trees this course uses sand on each side of each fairway so be prepared to practice your sand game. Nice staff. Greens rolled pretty good, albeit a bit slow.

Greens were in good shape but rolling even better last week. Hopefully this rain continues.

I've certainly played better munis, and I've played much worse. The course design has a lot of potential. But the overall conditions, especially fairways, detract from it. But for a spare-of-the-moment round, on a day when I finished working early nearby, it was worth it. Just don't include it as part of your Palm Beach golf holiday.

One thing about West Palm is that,...unless they are doing maintenance on the greens,...the conditions on the greens are good year round. The course is straightforward. Hit the fairway, hit the green. Be good at bunker shots if you cant do either of those two things. Be aware of elevation change when hitting into greens. Every hole is exposed to the wind.

Terrible tee boxes, half of the fairways are filled with sand, and there's sprouting weeds all over the fairways and greens. Never coming back. I thought $40 was a good deal in season... this place is worth $10 if u have a friend that's never played and you want to play 3 holes

My wife and I played at your Golf Course yesterday.We really enjoyed the game .The personnel is courteous.We will return.

Drove up from Orlando, here on vacation from Canada. The course was in good shape and clubhouse staff and the ranger were awesome. The guys who unloaded our clubs were less than courteous. After the front 9, tried to ask where the #10 tee box was and they totally ignored me, very rude. Had to ask a fellow golfer how to get there as it was not marked. Did not let that spoil our day. Greens were a little hard to read but had just been sanded. Fairways were in very good shape and easy to hit from. Can recommend this is worth the price.

As always the entire staff was welcoming, courteous and helpful. The course itself was fun to play. Not overpowering with some very pretty golf holes. The condition was OK. The course was very busy with foursomes always the norm.

The problems with this course lie with the city and county, It appears that they are sucking all of the income our and not re-investing back into it. The amenities should be embarrassing to them.

We will continue to play there because of the reasonable cost but it is really a sad situation.

The greens were heavily sanded. The fairways were in poor shape, the fairway bunkers had very loose sand and the tees had very little grass.
