The site that Streamsong Resort sits on in Forte Meade, halfway between Tampa and Orlando, used to be a phosphate mine. For this reason, the club's two championship golf courses enjoy a unique and stunning landscape of sweeping sand dunes and lakes accented with dramatic ridges and contours. Rather than reshaping the land during the construction of the courses, it was utilized to the fullest, guaranteeing that both courses blend seamlessly with the existing environment. The Blue Course, designed by Tom Doak who has four designs ranked in the top 100 in the world, stays true to his reputation for building challenging and visually stunning layouts. This dramatic golf course features a variety of elevation changes and is routed through tall wild grasses. Massive sand bunkers roll off the towering dunes and there are also deep-water ponds to watch out for.
