The golf course at Deer Run Country Club, which was redesigned by Ron Garl in 2003, utilizes its natural terrain of sparkling lakes and towering trees to create a picturesque and challenging layout. The golf course is also known for the immaculate conditions of its greens and fairways, which provide excellent putting surfaces. Deer Run Country Club features strategically placed sand traps, numerous doglegs, and water comes into play on several holes. The golf course, while challenging, is appealing to casual golfers and beginners for the beautiful setting and enjoyable, relaxing game. Deer Run Country Club is a local favorite both for the interesting layout and affordable rates.

Great course, great staff, great food and cold beer.

Nice course, fun layout..
Friendly staff. Course conditions are pretty good considering all the play it has had. Fairways well mowed, greens pretty fast and true. Our third round here this winter. We’ll be back again.
Fun and value for the money
I was from out of town and was looking to play a nice course near Orlando that wasn’t priced 60+ to play a round. On GolfNow this course had 3 stars, so I was a bit skeptical but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Good Value
Good deal for the $’s, course was in good condition considering the amount of damage from the hurricanes, still need to clear away downed trees
Course in good shape
We enjoyed a good round on a cold day. The fairways were in decent shape for winter conditions. Overall, the greens were good. A few had some rough spots. Overall, the layout is interesting and the course played fairly. I will play Deer Run again soon. The staff was very accommodating.

Greens were really good, the course was fine, but the weather was extremely cold
Forgot how fun it can be
I've played Deer Run numerous times and this was one of the better conditioned times. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were in good if not a little soggy shape. The layout can be challenging when the wind picks up, but this morning was relatively calm and really warm. Will be back soon.
Nice course
Overall a good and interesting course. Do need some fixing on the tees! Greens were in pretty good condition but a little rough around the edges!
Aging gem of a course
The conditions were fair (for the most part greens ran true with the exception of the bare spots on some greens - pins were not near them thou). Fairway okay and tee boxes had just been seeded. Worth a trip to a golf game tune up before hitting your regular course.

Too nice of a day to care!
Over seeding of the tee boxes is a little annoying but they can't cut them yet. Gotta do what you gotta do even in a Florida winter. Greens are really rolling nicely and hardly any bad spots. Just a gorgeous day weather wise so nothing could go wrong...shooting 77 wasn't bad either!
Not the Best Shape, but worth the money.
Cheap rounds can be found on GolfNow. It's not in the greatest of shape, but definitely worth what you pay. It's challenging at times. Staff is always friendly, but nothing overly special about this course.
I loved the course,mainly because I shot one of best rounds I've ever had. How could you not like it. It's hard to be impartial.
