Pines at Woodmont Country Club

About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Great Front nine
Cypress 1 was a pleasure to play, championship layout, Pines was in good shape other than the greens, with some work this could be a 5* facility
Cyprus, one was a great 9 holes. However, the pine's 9 holes was a disaster went in to talk to the prosha. Who could not be less accommodating. What a disaster, this person should not be dealing with customers.
What Happened??
The Cypress had 9 greens that were redone in 2024. I waited a long time to play them as they routed players to 9 holes on their Pines course…Now the Cypress back nine greens and fairways have no grass on them and are bare. It wasn’t this way in January ‘25!
I ask “What Happened?”

Thank you for coming back out and playing with us. As you stated we renovated the front 9 of the cypress course last summer with new greens, tees and bunkers. We are now renovating the back 9 of the cypress course this summer so it will look just like the front 9. In the process of preparing for the renovations you have to kill the old grass before you begin the renovations as ot make sure that none of the old grass lives in the existing soil. For the remainder of the summer we will be having play on the cypress front 9 and pines. We expect the back 9 of the cypress to reopen in october.
Course in progress of renovation
Not happy with golf now, not explaining to people booking a tee time that half the course is under renovation. 9 of the holes have been renovated already and the holes 1-9 are good. New greens. Good new sand in the bunkers. The tees looked good too. However, the back 9 of cypress was completely unplayable…I mean it’s not even worth $1 to play the back 9. No doubt eventually when the renovation is done, the back 9 will be much better. But feel very deceived not being informed of the HORRENDOUS condition of the back 9. Want a refund
Front 9 is great
The front 9 is awesome, fast greens, and good conditions. The back 9 has been let go, I think there are plans to redo soon.

We're very happy to hear you enjoyed the front 9 of the cypress course. Here is the good news: We're 1 week away from starting renovations on the back 9 to make it just like the front 9! The renovations are expected to be complete and back open by October 2025. We hope to see you again soon!
Extrêmes …..
Greens and fairways First 9 impeccable !
Second 9 horrible ….never seen that much différence
on the same golf course…..???

We are sorry to hear that the golf course wasn't in the condition you expected. As the signs around the clubhouse note we are only a few weeks away from closing the back 9 of the cypress course for renovations. Starting May 5th we will begin the work on the back 9 putting in brand new greens, tees and bunkers that will be back up and available in the fall. We appreciate your support and hope we will see you again once the work has been completed.
Perfect time for a relaxing 9 holes
Course in great shape, staff at pro shop was nice. Couldn’t play 18 with starting at 5:36 but perfect time for 9 holes
Always good value
The Cypress front nine was in solid shape, tee to green while the back nine must be getting ready to be worked on. I have always found the staff here to be the friendliest of any course I play in the county.
