Dog track
All greens aerated. It was very difficult to find errant shots. I wouldn't play here again until conditions improve.
Woodlands East is a Beast!
Great all around experience. True Country Club atmosphere and although I was undoubtedly the riff-raff, I wasn't treated that way. Challenging but fair. Play from the fairway as the rough is very challenging!
OK Course for the money.
The course was in fair condition although the housing around the course was in need of repair & occupancy. I played the round solo & as a woman I felt a little isolated & uncomfortable at times.
Wide open course which left most shots easy to recover from if not hit perfect.
May consider playing again but not alone.
Disappointed
Course was in good shape and quite play able. Staff was less than friendly (actually, downright rude). No marshall on the course and pace of play was absolutely horrible! It was so bad, my playing partners called it a day after 13 holes and 4.5 hours (at that point). I finally finished an hour later. I certainly won't play here again on the weekend!
Good shape
The course is in great shape for the amount of play that it gets. Not sure about the 19th hole, have heard that the food is terrible so I haven't been in the club house to even try it.
Average at best
It was off season when I played the course, it was not that nice. As far as course layout every par 4 was about the same and ever par 3 was the same there wasn't much difference between holes. Very busy course I played on a Monday afternoon. I won't play it again.
Ran out of Carts
My tee time was delayed 40 minutes as they had some type of event with about 50 European men and women. They ran out of carts and could not get people off in time. The starters were super nice and apologetic. It was just a giant cluster.
Course is in good shape. Bunkers were beautiful and the course has some water and a few dog legs.
Crowded but good value
Nice course but very crowded. Greens and fairways in good shape. Hot deals tee time a good value.
One of my few favorites
Great layout, great conditions, great staff, great value for the price
When visiting the area, Woodlands will be on my very short list of "must play" courses
Great Course
The course was in great shape and very beautiful. The only negative was that there was no where to get food/drinks. At the turn, we went into the clubhouse and they had a few sodas, but that was it. We were told there was a cart girl on the course, but never saw her.
Probably last round here till next summer
Course was probably in the best shape I've seen it in years. We had early time and got around as a twosome in @ 3 hours. With tourist season coming up, I know that won't happen again till next summer. If you get the chance, play it. As long as the pace is ok, you'll enjoy the course.
Nice round of golf
Got the Golfnow discount- $50 for two - very good deal. Not took much water. Great time.
Great Value; Great Experience
WOW!! Can't beat this course anywhere in the Lauderdale area. 18 holes on the East, 18 holes on the West, plus a lunch for $39 ?!?!? Incredible! We make our way to Florida annually and will put this in the rotation every time we are there. Friendly staff, speedy play, just wish we didn't get rain delayed. Even with a wet course, it still was a pleasant day.
Pleasantly surprised
First time playing this course. Although I arrived a little late, I was able to see the driving range and hit a few putts. Good warm up facilities. The course is set up pretty nice with a few holes that have tight opening drives through trees and elevation and turns all around. Not boring like more development courses in ft laud area. The rough was very tough and we lost many a ball that we watched fall and simply disappeared. Not great on your score or wallet. But if you found the fairway, they were nice and soft. Good grass pretty much all around. Greens run very straight with decent speed (you get a good foot at the end of putts, which is typical for much higher priced courese. I compare to Crandon in speed) but not much break. Very surprised at the overall value. For $25 on a sat at 9:30, it's one of the better courses in the area.
Nice Course
Formerly a Private venue and now open to the public, nice course. We only completed 9 holes and got rained out, looking forward to redeeming rain check and see the other nine holes.

Good challenge and the greens are very beautiful!
Very nice
Course was in very nice condition. Everything about the course was nice. Will return on my next vacation in the area.
