greens rolled out great
First timer. Friendly staff. From tee to green conditions were great, tight fairways and traps were nice too. Would play again......If it's there next year.
Critique positive
Le plus beau terrain que j'ai joué Durand mes vacance.tant pour le désigne et les condition de jeu.merci
Sad to know it only has 1 year left after being sold
I make it a point to play this course every time I come to Florida. It is one of my favorite courses anywhere. Course was in great shape and the staffwere great. I was very disappointed to find out the course had been sold and the course only has about a year left.
Expensive but a v g course in great condition
As always a lovely course in great condition, with helpful staff and top notch facilities. But expensive as peak season, and had to pay for range balls($5) on top, still worth it tho. 4h round without rushing or being rushed.
Great course
Every aspect of the course was great. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. The bunkers are deep and makes the greens very picturesque. A must play when in Orlando.
good resort course
Tough approach to well bunkered and elevated greens. Great test of golf!!
Gets better every time
One of the best I've played in Orlando. Undulating greens + must have A-game from the tee makes every round interesting. Definetly recommend!
Great course
Grande Pines is a great course. It is difficult but fair. Greens were fast, fairways in great shape.
Good layout
I liked the course, it has plenty grass, not hard pan , the greens are challenging but fair. The staff are friendly.
What disappointed me was the slow pace of play and and the poor etiquette of some of golfers who didn't rake the traps after playing out of them, but this is not the club's fault.
I would recommend it.
Challenging but fair
Very good layout, challenging but fair, lots of bunkers near greens and some raised greens, fairways very lush, greens were slightly on the slow side, pace of play was a slow 4.5 hours due to two foursomes in front of us, a good deal on Golf Now Deal Caddy.
Great staff and course
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was in great shape.
Good day out
We were paired up in a foursome with a couple from Iceland, they were very nice people and we had a good time. The course conditions were good and the weather was great. The GPS in the carts were very handy and helped a lot with club selection. My only negative is the hassle with keeping up with play. On the GPS it tells you if you are behind or ahead of play. The course says 4.5 hours is the pace. We were always at least 6 mins ahead yet we had marshal's sitting at the tee box several times watching us tee off or just sitting looking at pieces of paper in their cart. It felt like we were being hurried and at $110 per round I didn't like it. Having said that, given the opportunity, I would play the course again.
Must Play!
Grande Pines is a very pretty course with many very interesting holes. The service and amenities were all excellent. I would encourage anyone golfing in Orlando to give this course a try.
Slow
Pace of play very slow. Hard first hole to start lots of trees not much room for stray shots.
Grand Pines - not so Grande
Good course, nothing exceptional. Fairways were well manicured. It is a Resort golf course so there are many non-golfers or beginners on the course - unforturante when you are paying top dollar to play!! We were advised the restaurant was not open to get a sandwich after our 5 hr round. Try the Orange County National courses for a better golf experience.
A+
I booked a late day hot deal and it was a great decision. Course conditions were perfect. Pace of play was really slow, but there were a few 4-somes ahead of my 3. The course is very tough. I will definitely make it a point to at here again.
Interesting course
First time here. Been meaning to play this course for the last couple of years. So many courses in the area. Good conditions all around.
Fun course, variety of tee boxes
This is the first time that I played Grande Pines. it is a VERY nice course. The course was full, but the rangers did an excellent job keeping the pace of play up. We tee'd off on time and finished the 18th hole just under 4.5 hours (the GPS said we were approx. 5 minutes faster than the stated pace of play)
The course itself was in above average condition. The traps had consistent sand, the fairways were cut short, and the greens were fair (but slow).
The ONLY thing that I will say is that if you have never played the course before, try to play with somebody who has, the course has a fair number of blind tee shots and I got away with a few errant drives as a result.
Nice course and layout
If it wasn't 95 degrees out, I would have felt better and played better, but the course was in good condition.
Great Course, Better Value
Course was in excellent condition and great greens. Staff super friendly. Played a twilight nine and at the Golfnow price this is tremendous value.
