Briar Bay Golf Course is a par-31 executive layout designed by the team of Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge. The course has a surprising amount of challenges in store. There is a diverse mix of holes that will test your skills with a variety of different shots. Water hazards come into play on half of the holes. The layout ambles in every direction, forcing golfers to contend with wind no matter what, before turning back towards the clubhouse. Any ideas of this being a simple pitch-and-putt golf course are quickly dispelled with the second and third holes. The tricky second is a tight par 4 with a postage-stamp green, it is followed by the equally tough third, which requires an intimidating shot over water. Briar Bay Golf Course is a good test that is still approachable for beginners.
