About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in Jun 2018.
Located in Lehigh Acres, Mirror Lakes Golf Club originally opened in 1958 as part of Admiral Lehigh Resort. It's one of the area's oldest courses. The club was re-founded in 1970 and got a new name and look. From the back tees, the golf course stretches to just over 7,200 yards for a par of 73. It's more difficult than the original design but it's also more fun. The course is long and mostly wide-open. Overall, it's player friendly enough for players of any skill level. Despite what its name would imply, sand comes into play more than water. The 11th is Mirror Lakes Golf Club's signature hole. This unique par 6 features a heavy smattering of out-of-bounds and bunkers along both sides of the fairway as well as a heavily guarded green. From the back tees, the hole will challenge even the best golfers.

expeience.
Course was full. waited on tee a couple of times. greens need work. still have signs of hurricane damage.
course played well. Sand traps are more like gravel and hard dirt.
Golf fort Myers
This is a good course for the average golfer who doesn't mind playing on a course that isn't in top shape. Most of the greens are spotty with different type of grass growing but fairways are reasonable. This course is pretty wide open so if you have the occasional errant drive like myself it's not too bad
Let's go golfing!
I have been playing at the Mirror Lake for a several years now. It is a very good course for these reasons: 1. price is good 2. golf cart always nice and clean 3. people are friendly 4. Course layout are fun and challenging.
not worth the money
I would not recommend this course at this time, the greens are not in good shape, partially due to a poor greens cut machine (?) or poor quality labor. There are long lines of skinned grass and/or machine caused scraped marks through at least 6 greens. Also because of snowbirds I imagine there were an usual amount of ball marks that are not repaired thus causing MANY bumpy rolls and brown spots on ALL the greens. It will be a while before I play this course this course again because there are TOOOOO many courses around for the same price which are in much better shape.
Forget playing this course
The owner of this course is from Sweden. He will not invest any money in the course. He visited the course in January 2018. I am surprised GolfNow still represents this course. I will be surprised if this course is around in two years. Such a shame as the people there are very nice.
Not worth the trip let alone the money
This was a big disappointment, course in terrible shape, would not come back was like golfing in a pasture was waiting for cows to walk across fairway.
Mirror Lakes
Fairways were good, but the greens were in terrible shape. They were full of crab grass- looking growth that was not compliant to a rolling golf ball. Would not play this course again.
club house closed at 6.00 pm if you finish after 6.00 you cannot go in the club house to use the restroom
Na
Good layout. Great staff and very friendly. Will continue to play here
January 24. 2018
The course has really gone downhill. All the greens are half full of weeds. Marginal grass in the fairways. Many down trees from the hurricane not removed or
Taken down. Clearly no plans to actually maintain the property
Was told the owner didn’t like golf and was turning it into a 9 hole Course soon.
As a note, I had a tee time for a single but found out when I got there there they really did not assign me a time. Had to wait about 45 minutes for them to fit me in. I was told. that it was Golf Now’s fault for not downloading the info. I know that was not true.
The starter was nice and tried to do the best to accommodate me. However, If I ever play there again I won’t make a tee time through Golf Now.
Poor experience
The course is lacking in all respects. Hard packed traps, chewed up tee boxes, poor fairways and weed-filled greens. There was a shortage of carts until right before our round, the course was overbooked and ponderously slow, and we often had up to 16 players on one hole at one time. Overall, not worth the effort or money.
The greens are getting very fast
Some holes pin location very difficult
Fun track
Like most South Florida courses during the dry season the fairways could use some water but the ball rolls out nice. The greens were rolling about an 8 the day we played and the pace was reasonable. Good track for the $$$.
Mirror lakes
Course was still not cleared of downed trees on cart paths. Some greens were damaged by vandals.
Intro to mirror lakes
I brought my friend here, she was visiting from up north. I just moved down last year, so this was my first time at the course too. Although clearly this area took quite a hit from Irma, the course was playable and the staff - from cart guy to starter to cashier were very friendly and accommodating. We're not progolfers, far from it(!), but we found the course at times doable, but also it could be challenging. We had a lot of sand in our shoes! There werent any gaps between groups but we played 9 in just under 2 hours. It was fun and we will be back! Thank you!
Good course for the price
We weren't expecting much for $40 in high season but were pleasantly surprised. The course is out of the way in a questionable neighborhood, however, it was in decent shape, it's long and we enjoyed our round. I really don't think they have a restaurant, but they were grilling some burgers, outside at the turn and they were great for $3. There's a little bit of everything - sand, water and some tough greens. We would come back when we stay in this area.
