David Harman, the course's designer, incorporated demanding par 3s and reachable par 5s into this challenging but fair layout. The links design sprawls across a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. At 6,735 yards from the back tees, it's not a long course overall but the beginning hole is an intimidating par 5 that measures 561 yards. You may not need your driver very often, but your accuracy will be put to the test constantly. Water plays a prominent role throughout the golf course, it comes into play on all but one hole. There are also numerous snow-white bunkers lining Plantation Palms Golf Club's lush, rolling greens, most of which are elevated.
