Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, Kissimmee Golf Club provides a pleasant escape for tourists looking for an affordable round of golf. Although it is situated near several tourist attractions, the golf course is also a favorite among local golfers. The course dates back to the early 1940's, but 18 holes were officially established in 1962 and since then, the tees and greens have been updated to provide better putting surfaces and more challenges. In addition to the golf course, Kissimmee Golf Club offers practice facilities for golfers to use, including one of the largest grass driving ranges in the country.

Great airplanes
Srill some storm damage and greens were not overly smooth but a nice layout with challenges. We liked lots here.
Getting a bit rundown
I have always included Kissimmee GC in my schedule partly because I like to also support the lower ranked courses and I do like the layout. I also like airplanes! But it really is starting to get a bit rundown - on the front nine, the greens are especially bumpy and a bit "threadbare". If you don't mind tees and greens that are a bit rough, it really is a decent layout and worth playing.
Decent Shape
Course is in decent shape. Some greens are perfect, others are average. Surrounds airport so there's constantly planes taking off and landing - very cool. Would recommend if rate is low but wouldn't pay more than $30 to play here.
Wonderful community course
We wanted a relaxing golf day and we had it! The course is mostly flat with water and tree hazards. The staff had done a good job removing debris and downed trees from the recent hurricane to make the course playable. The greens were not smooth, but we were not expecting tournament conditions in November. The staff was most friendly and the food was good. Exceeded our expectations.
love it
This course borders an airport where vintage planes roar down the runway, what a treat to watch, course was in good condition . We always enjoy playing here.
Cow pasture
The cool thing about this course was the airfield on it and the vintage planes taking off. As for Golf great time if your retired 80 and on fixed income. Other than that not wort it
You get what you pay for!
Great price for a poorly maintained course. Great pace of play. Ok layout; staff had no personality. We had fun.
getting better
Course is coming along better than the last time I played there. Greens have some weeds growing them.
I have played here a number of times and have always enjoyed the layout. Doglegs left (4,6,12) and right (2,8,14,17), good par 3s and challenging par 5s. Greens tend to the small size. Usually the greens are a little slower than the usual Florida courses but consistent. Not on Saturday as there was no consistency green to green. It was very frustrating. Tee boxes were OK but could use some work. No houses on the course as it goes around the Kissimme airport. Definitely will return.
FRIDAYS OUTTING
THE COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE CONSIDERING IRMA JUST CAME THOUGH . THE GREENS WERE LITTLE BUMPING. THE OVERALL COURSE SHAPE WAS GREAT. GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.
Intresting concept
The guys are doing a great job cleaning up after the hurricane, the greens on the front are a little rough but after 1 week they've improved, the back are ok. One interesting concept is they told me that their going to run the checkin desk at the bar. Good luck with that when the snowbirds return. The staff though are very nice will see them soon cause i like the course and staff, and the track will get better fast with their hard work.
Kissimmee Golf Club
This is our local course and great value for money. Staff are great and very friendly and helpful. The course for Mid October is still in good shape following Hurrincane Irma.
Well worth a visit.
We will be back.
Great First visit
Here on vacation and my16 year old son has just begun playing golf so we wanted a place where he could play and not feel pressured to hurry and not super difficult. This place was just what we were looking for. For $13 he played 18 holes and that included a cart( I drove) I think it costs almost that much to play mini golf here in Orlando.
Friendly staff. We loved the airplanes taking off and landing. We will be back.
Not worth it
This was my first time playing this course and it will be my last. An hour's drive was not worth it. Most of the greens are patchy at best and brown in many places. The fairways, if you can call it that, are mostly weeds mixed with some grass here and there. I liked the layout but the course is a typical old dry unkept tract. The airplanes at the airport were not as much of a distraction as I anticipated they might be given that some oft he holes run right along the runways. It was a really nice day and although there was some damage from Irma, the major cleanup was done. The bathrooms and vending machines were out of order so it made for a long 18.
