Interesting course
Ok, just the nitty gritty. Interesting course with good yardage from different tees. Some holes are long and then you have to switch to a short par3 then you go to a dogleg o the next hole so each hole is different and it's a good mixup. Bunkers are thin mostly and in some spots around green the rough will cause u some headaches. Very forgiving off of tee box as most holes run next to each other. Par 3s and 5s are holes where u can make up lost shots. Number 18 is a par 4 with an island green, great hole to finish up on. I paid $45 and this was a good amount for the course HOWEVER, I had to rent clubs and they were $60!!! It definently is not a course worth anywhere near $100 but for $40 to $50 you'll be fine.
nice florida course, always fun to play..course maintained well...

Great hidden gem of a course!
Cute little course. Greens are well kept. Fairways looked awesome. Good price. Starter and outside staff were very nice and friendly. The best beverage cart service compared to Miami. We see her at least 2 to 3 times. As compared to course in Miami, we only see the beverage cart on the last two holes as we are finishing the whole 18.
Great course
Great course. This is the best course on your list in South Florida. Never stys wet after a rain. Always kept in good shape. I love Hill Crest.
Nice course. Poor scheduling and monitoring.
15 mins wait in almost every tee.. No marshals. 9 holes in 3hr 20 mins.
Unfortunatly the course was under airation which made it a bad day
Layout is good and challenging, not too many water holes
Nice course but slightly overated!!
Played this course based on previous ratings @ GolfNow. The guy that checked us in at the Pro Shop was not very friendly. Same attitude I have seen before when you book your tee times at an online site rather than calling the Pro Shop directly. Not rude, but not friendly!! Everyone else we came into contact with at the course was very friendly and accommodating. The grass area for the driving range looked decent but it was closed. The matts we had to hit from were in terrible shape and a medium size (not large) bucket of balls was $5. The course itself was in decent shape but nothing special. The greens were extremely slow and the rough was pretty deep and difficult to hit out of. My biggest gripe with this course was the fact that there was no GPS on the carts and no course diagrams of any kind on the scorecards. Several holes had blind dog leg shots where we had to guess the distance and possible hazards. I guess we could have asked if they had a yardage book for sale in the Pro Shop, but based on the green fees I didn't think this would be an issue. We saw drinking water on only one or two holes. Probably will not return.
In better shape then last year
Great to play on Thursday League. Challenge on all of the holes depending on the tees you play.
Great layout condition
Seamless transaction. Great course. Nice layout. Needs to clean up a few holes
Very well maintained
This was a very enjoyable course to play. It was challenging at times but nothing crazy. Everything was very well maintained and the pace of play was pretty good for a Sunday morning.
Great Experience
While in town on business I figured I would sneak in a round of golf before work. I got there about half an hour earlier than my 7:07 tee time and was allowed to head out early. After about 3 holes I caught up to the 2 gentlemen ahead of me, but they really never slowed me down (although eventually I passed them at the turn).
Since it was so early the grass was still wet from the morning dew, therefore greens were rolling pretty slow. The maintenance crew were all over the course, mowing grass, rolling greens, raking traps, etc... I never felt impeded by them, they seemed very aware of who was on the course and stayed out of the way. As the heat continued to rise I realized the greens were starting to roll pretty fast. I actually found myself long on the majority of my putts, which is the complete opposite of what usually happens.
Since the course crosses over itself a few times, if you're not paying attention, its easy to find yourself on the wrong hole.
On 18, aim far enough right so you don't find yourself with a blind second shot off a sidehill/downhill lie to the island green. However, if you put one in the drink like I did, the drop zone is practically on the green.
I normally play pretty fast, but finishing a round in 2 hours was pretty solid!!!
Well kept, Cool final hole
The course was in overall good condition. We really enjoyed the 18th island green. The course isn't too challenging, but I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
Great Course Worth Playing
I have been a South Florida resident my entire life and always heard this was worth playing. I was not disappointed. Fairways were some of the best I've played down here and greens were rolling a very consistent 9-10. 18th Hole is an island green par 4 and a nice challenge to end the round. We played early and despite a little weather delay finished in 4 hours. Can't wait to go back!
Best Draining and Maintained Course in Hollywood Area!
The conditions were better than OK, and the course was in very good shape Tee to Green!
The rough was long, which made difficulty higher, but more challenging at the same time. No Complaints
Looking forward to my next chance to play there, hopefully soon.
Have A Golfing Day!!!
Good course for all skill levels. Well maintaned.
The course was well maintained from tee to green. Considering it had been raining all week the course was relatively dry. Some of the fairways are being worked on which is typical for this time of year.
Traditional course with good layouts
The fairways and greens have enough contours and are in very good conditions. Not enough water hazards to make it challenging but interesting enough to play here. Given that there are many huge oak tress on the course, there are few holes doglegged to the left or right are being blocked by huge trees. It's fun to play a par 4 island hole on #18. Overall, if money is not an issue, it's a good and fun course to play. See recommendation for other similar courses in the area.
Great course but very slow play.
Me and my buddy waited about 20 min. To be paired with two other golfers. The starter allowed the group in front of us to play 5 people that's why it took us 5 hours to play. The course is in good shape but would have enjoyed more if the play was not that slow.
The course challenges the player with many doglegs and some slight "hills".
The course is kept very well. The fairways are clean and well maintained, the rough is low, and the greens are smooth and roll well. Even though it rained somewhat, the course stayed "dry" and allowed the ball to roll on direct lines.
Large well groomed greens
Great course with a great staff who always treat there customers like friends , Thanks.
Fairways in very good shape, Greens are in good shape aswell, just a bit slow for my taste.
