This was one of the worst days of golf my wife and I have ever had and we've been playing for 35 years. She actually stopped after the third hole the place was so sad. At one time this must have been a beautiful facility but now it is barely a golf course. Dead weeds are the fairways, weeds in the sand traps, horrible tee boxes. We spoke to a man working in the cart shed and he said at one time there were 900 employees and now 90 and it was a destination resort. Foreigners bought and drained all the money and let it go back. The pool looked nice. We kept trying to envision how it must have been. The tennis courts are no longer with trees growing. in the middle and the 800 occupied apartments surrounding in need of maintenance. Depressing place. We hope someone with some money buys it and brings it back to the beauty it once was.
