Villa Del Ray Golf Club

All 4 of us enjoyed the course and agreed we would go back. Also they have a very good GPS on the golf carts. What's not to like we all said.

Course needs some work especially some greens however it is very cost effective. Somewhat challenging. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely play there again for the same price. Would not pay more.

I thought the course was in decent shape and a great value. The course was not very challenging but for a nice round of golf its great....and there was a GPS for the course in the cart which was a big plus! No refreshment cart and it was hard to stop after the front nine to get a drink or something to eat. You lost your turn if you stopped. W

Had a great time with my first round at Villa Del Rey!! From the bag drop to the clubhouse and marshalls everyone was very friendly and easy to deal with. My buddy and I were given complimentary range balls (big plus!!!). The course was in nice shape especially for fall/winter. First time playing on tifdwarf graas greens they rolled true so that's all I ask!!! I'll definitely be back to this lil hidden gem!!!

I was treated with such disrespect from the pro shop that I left. Booked thru golf now but left without playing. I made a wrong turn pulling into the bag drop and you would think I killed some one. The man in the pro shop ran out cussing at me and the kicked my car. It was astonishing. I never was treated so poorly in my life.

Terrain moyen qui accuse son âge (+ ou- 40-50 ans) sans investissement majeur. Ne vaut pas plus de $20. la partie....Forte odeur d'égout sur tout le parcours....

The pace of play started out ok, but we got behind a person who should have been at the driving range rather than on the course. I know it is a tough call, but the ranger who spoke to him a couple of times, should have pulled him out.

The course was in great shape and I would recommend. A very good value for the money.

This course is not very interesting because the conditions is very bad.

Myself and a three others played Villa last weekend.

Ill get right to the good stuff here..

Pros:
- Great price,I believe we played for under $18 a person in november, which is unheard of.
-Rate of play was good, ranger was visible throughout the course
-Staff, from the bag drop attendant to the pro shop guy, everyone was extremely friendly, treat you like family.
-Course is getting in great condition, they are out there working on it, and with the exception of a fairway or two, course is coming along great.

Cons:
-Cart was slow (who cares, i know)
and thats about it. Villa is a great value, and a great time is easy to be had. Will be back to play again very soon.

Funny course with little green. you need Different placement drive on each hole. bunker at right place.

Solid course for the price. Pace of play was fine. Course in decent condition and the GPS was helpful. Short course but has some challenges to sharpen your game. Greens were in good condition.

when i got to the course wed. 8/6/14 the guy was rolling the practice green. The course is looking very good and I enjoy this track very much. There is alot of room off the tee and some cool doglegs 6, 8 and 12 are very fun holes. I like villa Delray very much !

My wife and I played here on 7/31/14. We got stuck behind a group I called "The Four Clowns". No etiquette whatsoever - left every bunker unraked and every divot unrepaired. Very slow and there was never a marshal in sight during the whole round. We wound up skipping the 14th hole to play around them.

Course was in deplorable condition. Big clumps of dead cut grass in almost every fairway like seaweed. Lost a few balls in them in the middle of the fairway! Bunkers were awful - no care whatsoever. Greens were just ok at best. I would never play here again. It was one of the worst experiences I have had in golf.

This course is set in an area that has many upscale private golf courses so I think there is a need to keep it in good shape to survive, and they are. The course has wide fairways with enough sand traps and water hazards to make play fun. It also was a nice surprise to see that after many days of heavy rain there was very little problems with water drainage. Good restuarant for quick lunch between 9th an 10th hole and everyone was real nice and happy to be there.

Paid only $14.00 for the round !!
For the price you pay this is a very good deal
Don't expect a PGA course and you won't be dissapointed.
People extremely friendly and relaxed.
I would most definitely play here again.
Reading the negitive reports make me wonder how golfers can expect so much when paying so little

The course plays well but you will not walk away saying wow. I paid $15 so with that I wasn't expecting a wow.
