Legends is a high bluff-low valley course that takes full advantage of an undulating and relatively treeless landscape. This new Lloyd Clifton designed course opened in winter of 2001. It is located on Orlando's west side, 3 miles south of Clermont on US Hwy. 27. Legends is less than a half hour from many parts of Orlando and Kissimmee. Visually the course soars. At its highest points it affords full-fledged panoramic views of the surrounding hills and vales and citrus groves.
Artfully carved from former citrus groves, Legends boasts a multitude of rolling, slanting (some mountainous) tiered fairways, bordered by perimeter mounding that lead to undulating, well-bunkered greens. The expansive "mountain-top" driving range boasts elevation drops of 75 to 100 feet with brilliant views.
