Legacy Golf Club in Bradenton is an Arnold Palmer signature design that is one of southwest Florida's premier courses. The challenging but fair layout will appeal to players of all skill levels. The course features multiple elevated tees and like a true Palmer course, there is water and sand surrounding nearly every hole. One of the unique features of the golf course is the 360-foot-wide fairway on every corridor, which lends a visually dramatic appeal to the course as well as a little room for error. The layout has an interesting mix of holes ranging from open and player friendly, to narrow and tree lined. Each one presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity. There are several forced carries on the first nine and there is plenty of water coming into play on the back nine.

I bought one of the "package" tee times where you get a lunch and two beers with green fee and cart. I was given a ticket for lunch and beers. I asked if I could get these from beverage cart and was assured that bev cart would have sandwiches, beverages. It was an 80 degree sunny day and there was no beverage service and so no sandwich. After round I presented my unused ticket at cashier and asked what happened.....I got a smirk and was told it wasn't the pro shop issue and I should go see the "restaurant side". The course manager was standing behind me and just agreed. The restaurant side was equally uncooperative. It was too late for lunch, etc.

Bottom line.....customer service sucked. Don't count on a sandwich or beverage if you buy their package deal. The other 3 players in my four also got screwed.
