My wife and I arranged fo an a tee-time via the telephone and was informed by the staff it was no problem however the green fee would be $100.00. Reviewing the overall ratings of the course...we said no problem. We arrived and the staff was extemely nice...loaded the clubs to the cart ect...Went to the pro shop to pay and was informed that they only accepted CASH for payment. We were never told this was the form of payment prior to arriving and were not prepared to pay in cash. We informed the employee we only had $170.00 and she responded with "we can make it work"....in my humble opinion....a cash making cow which feeds on vacationers...course was "OK" tee to green..not very long,,,would we golf there again??? Don't think so...course is not nearly as good as others in the area that are open to the public and not as expensive

This is one of the finest golf courses I have ever played...Donald Ross would be proud of his creation today...In fact, I beleive he spoke to me on the 16th hole...a signature 3 par that measures only about 150yds from the white tees..I beleive he said to hit "one more club" to be sure to clear the water and the biggest bunker I have ever seen protecting the front of a green...I would have given it a 5 STAR ratting if I hadn't played OAK HILL in Rochester,NY...Play Bradenton if you can for three reasons,,,THE COURSE...THE CUSTOMER SERVICE..SUITABLE FOR ANY LEVEL PLAYER....
